When I find an outfit item that works without fail, I don’t hesitate buying it in multiples! That’s what I’ve done with this ruched body-con tank dress from Nordstrom. I own it in three colors, and I just ordered my fourth one in black because it’s currently on sale for under $40. This three-season dress has over 3,000 near-perfect reviews from shoppers, many of whom have also bought it in several colors. I keep buying this dress because it can be styled multiple ways for maximum use throughout most of the year.
Besides that, it’s comfortable, versatile, and cute. And, it’s easy to dress up with a jacket and heels, or down with flats, sandals, or sneakers for a more casual look. Oh, and it comes in about 15 colors, too.
How it fits
The sleeveless, jersey-knit dress features a rounded neckline, tulip hemline, and gathered ruching on one side that disguises and shapes your middle. It fits TTS (I’m wearing a medium), and it comes back year after year in a variety of colors. Because I’m almost 5’10” with a long torso and long legs, it hits me about 4″ above the knee. If you’re shorter, it will hit you at or near the knee.
Casual and vacation style
When traveling, I always bring at least one of these dresses. I wore my brown one all day when strolling the streets of San Juan, Puerto Rico on a trip last year.
Accessories

On our trip to Newport Beach last summer, I brought my white dress and styled it with a denim jacket and a scarf.
This three-season dress is such a great spring and fall transition piece. On cooler days, I throw on a jacket and booties, and all through the summer, I style it with accessories like these for a more casual look.

Gosh, I love it. I have one almost identical in teal blue. I definitely wish I had a long sleeve one too because you know I’m always cold, LOL!!

This really is the perfect LBD. I’m embarrassed to admit I have at least 7/8 little black dresses I haven’t worn or I would purchase it because it looks slightly better than what I’ve got. Just wowza flattering!

Boy, you are tempting me Lisa! I really love the burgundy! Well, they all look fab on you and the white is perfect for summer. So, I am 5 ft 9, and usually wear a 4 in dresses, do you think the same?
