I’ve been a fan of white pants and jeans for years. So much so that I have a variety of them with different fabrics, lengths, and fits that are in frequent rotation throughout all four seasons. Last fall, I found these lightweight, ivory-colored, wool pants from Ralph Lauren, and they quickly became my faves for fall/winter. You might have seen them in this post.

In my opinion, wearing white pants in the winter gives off a fresh and modern look. So, in the dead of winter, if you’re looking to lighten up your wardrobe, pull out a pair of your white pants or jeans, style them up for winter, and give them a go! I’m showing three easy-to-replicate styles from pieces already in my closet to give you some ideas.

Pair with chambray shirt

I love white pants paired with a chambray shirt. The one I’m wearing is several years old, but it’s still available at J. Crew. If you’re looking to add one to your closet, this chambray is very soft, and I love its snap closures and subtle, western vibe. I’m wearing a size 6-tall. To complete the look, I added my leopard jacket, suede mules, and a vintage rosary necklace.

Add statement pieces

Statement pieces look different for everyone. Maybe you’re drawn to lively colors, bold prints, or eye-catching accessories…or all of the above! Or maybe, like me, you’re into neutrals and more subtle tones. The point is to try what you have and see what works well together, and most importantly, what makes you feel confident.

Pop some animal print

Combining animal print with white makes the print pop while projecting a classic and effortless look. To finish this outfit, I added my leather motorcycle jacket, a western-inspired scarf with the same colors as in the leopard print top, and my ivory booties.
