One thing we all agree on is that comfort is a must when traveling. I not only want to be comfortable when I travel, but I also want to look stylish, too! Clothing and shoe brands are making that much easier to achieve these days since comfort and style are what women want.

When Jodie, of Jodie’s Touch of Style, asked me to join her for a blog series on sneakers recently, I decided to highlight the ones I wear most often and the ones I ALWAYS bring with me when I travel…my classic, suede Courtset sneakers. by adidas (more adidas styles and colors are at the bottom of this post).

Since Jodie and I live about 90 minutes apart, we met midway at the 9-11 Memorial in Broomfield, Colorado for photos followed by dinner together. We immediately hit it off, and she is as delightful in person as I had imagined.

I love that Jodie, her 80+ mother, and her 70+ step-mother are the models in her blog, which features real women in different decades with different body types showing how style is ageless. If you haven’t already, sign up on her email list and get ready to be inspired!

I’m a dedicated Adidas girl and have several of their sneakers and tennis apparel. I absolutely love my Courtset sneakers, and I not only wear them every time I travel, but also around town all year long. Besides being incredibly plush and comfortable, these sneakers are stylish, they go with everything, they come in 12 colors, and they’re reasonably priced under $40 (some colors are slightly higher).

Below, I paired my sneakers with palazzo pants when we traveled all day from Puerto Rico to Denver, including a 2-hour walking tour of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico after a cruise.

These palazzos are no longer available, but these Nic+Zoe stretch pants are my absolute favorites when traveling because they can do double or triple duty. They don’t wrinkle, and they can be worn as yoga pants, dressed up with heels, or dressed down with sandals or sneakers. They also have a front raised vertical seam adding an interesting, chic feature. They’re one of my favorite pants ever! No exaggeration.

Here I wore my sneakers for a recent visit to the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix and walked several thousand steps. I can always depend on them for all-day comfort. Vionic is another shoe brand I love for comfort (especially with high arches) and for walking thousands of steps. Here are some of their shoes that got my attention. Most come in multiple colors, and they have many other styles, too.

My Adidas sneakers have held up so well since I bought them two years ago and are still in excellent condition after walking countless miles. I probably should order another pair soon because I know they’ll continue to be my go-to travel sneakers!
