My go-to color palette is always neutral. It’s easy on the eye, you can mix and match neutrals, and they’re foundational pieces that don’t have to be boring…especially when you add a special touch! Today I’m showing a casual, neutral outfit for summer with pieces from J. Crew and Madewell in white, oatmeal, and camel colors.
I’ve paired my neutral outfit with this exquisite zebrawood and turquoise watch from Jord Watches (pronounced Yode, like Yoda without the ‘a’), and I’m partnering with Jord on a contest for a $100 giveaway!
Outfit details
These straight-leg, cropped jeans from J. Crew are a great alternative to tight, skinny jeans for warm weather. They’re high waisted (yay!) with an exposed button fly, and fit like a dream. They run true to size and come in classic, petite, and tall sizes. I’m wearing a classic fit size 27.
white jeans // sweater tank // purse (similar here) // reversible belt //
double-strand coin necklace // espadrille sandals // watch (gift)
J. Crew is currently offering an extra 50% off already discounted sale styles here using the code BIGGEST.
I love comfortable, versatile, practical, and cute shoes like these espadrilles. They are the perfect heel height to wear with jeans, dresses, or shorts, and the style is timeless.
The shoulder ties on this sweater tank from Madewell are adjustable and give it a pretty, feminine touch. I just love this top and will be wearing it with so much this summer!
My purse is from Anthropologie and can be worn as a tote (as shown), a cross-body, or a shoulder bag with the removable strap. The neutral color is sold out, but it comes in a pretty sage green and black. I’ve linked a similar neutral one.
Turquoise and Zebrawood Watch
I love standout accessories that are eye-catching and unique, and this Cora Polaris from Jord Watches definitely fits the bill!
Crafted with an exotic zebrawood band encased in gold and a brilliant turquoise face featuring Swarovski crystals depicting the Little Dipper, this is one of the most striking watches I’ve seen. Every time I wear it, I received so many compliments on it.
Giveaway information and link

What a fun outfit and how easy it is to change it up with different accessories. I like that it’s a neutral colour outfit so you can add pops of colour however you wish
I agree, Pamela! Appreciate you stopping by and commenting.

I love this look! I have been big on neutrals lately and I love this palette of gold, tan, white and cognac brown. Love the tie details at the shoulders, I have a summer dress and top with this detail. Those jeans look fabulous, we wear the same size in denim and I love the button fly and high waist. It’s temping!

Hi Jess! I’m all about the neutrals, too. I think we have pretty similar styles 😉

I’m not sure how I missed this post, Lisa!!
I’m terrible at pairing neutrals together…it’s hard for me not to throw in some color here and there. But this turned out so good that I’m going to try it now.
XOXO

I can see how wearing all neutrals would be a challenge for a color lover like you! Your palette is beautiful and bright, and it amazes me how you make different colors/patterns look so great together!
