Moving forward, I’m publishing my monthly recaps as blog posts. Here goes, albeit a few days late!
Highlights from August
How was your August, everyone? I hope you had a good month and got to enjoy much of what summer has to offer.
I tried to get outside as much as possible and spend quality time with family and friends. Some highlights include: traveling to Newport Beach with my husband, attending a friend’s wedding and my daughter’s baby shower, having dinner with my BFF who was in town for a few days, and hiking and paddle boarding with friends.
Favorite Purchases in August
This $25 maxi dress in coral (to be featured in an upcoming blog post) // This super soft graphic tee from Good Hyouman // This natural pearl pendant necklace with adjustable length // These lightweight pants from Bella Dahl
Other Stuff
Favorite book I read: The Friend Zone, by Abby Jiminez (read this in 3 days!)
Best beauty discovery: Bare minerals original foundation (just started using this and I LOVE it!), and this creamy lip oil from Too Faced

A first for me: I got my first SENIOR DISCOUT! Eeek! 😱 Our local Safeway offers a 10% discount (55+) on the first Wednesday of each month. A nice, but sobering, surprise!

I’m always about a discount and if that’s because of all of my experiences, that’s a good thing!
